• Hi

WordPress 2.5 wont update text widgets, so if you edit the text and then update you get the default text over the top of your widgets

    Try it yourself

  • Try…

1.) Don’t forget to click the “save changes” button.
2.) The text widget doesn’t clear anything, and neither do the h2’s for the sidebar, so either change your CSS or add a

    <div style="clear:both;"></div>

at the end of your text to force whatever is after it to not overlap it.

Hmmm after further review, I noticed that if I edit two or more text widgets at the same time, that only the top one will save when I click “save changes.”

In my opinion this circumstance doesn’t happen too often, but it is certainly a bug.

Did you post it on trac?

Did you post it on trac?

I am looking at Trac for the first time right now, and am just familiarizing myself with it to ensure I post it in the correct spot/format, but I suspect that I will if no one else does. 🙂

Hi there is also a code error line 12 character 9 object expected.
We get this when updating text widgets.

    Default Sidebar
Your theme will display its usual sidebar when this box is empty. Dragging widgets into this box will replace the usual sidebar with your customized sidebar.

Then your normal widgets underneath however the text or code is not updated at all.

Even though you get sidebar updated view site link

We are using the talian 10 theme
