   Help! Last week, I inserted code for my Twitter feed into a text widget and moved it into sidebar 1. It worked fine.

   A few days later, I decided I wanted to make some adjustments to it. But when I went back into Appearance/Widgets to find the widget, it wasn't there. All the other widgets were, but not that one. It's gone, yet it still shows up fine on the site.

   I cleared my browser cache. I disabled all plug-ins. And I made sure the accessibility code was enabled on the widget page.

   Nothing worked. I'm stumped, and I'd love some advice!

   I'm not sure whether you already look into the specific sidebar that contain the widget. If not designed to be multiple instance, usually a widget is single instance. I mean, once it is placed on specific sidebar, it won't appear on the widget 'stocks'. So, to customize it, we have to locate it inside the sidebar containing the widget.

   Esmi, No change in my theme. I use Thesis.

   Agus, Not sure what you mean by looking into the sidebar. Do you mean the sidebar.php file? It's all Greek to me. (I'm a writer who creates web content, so I know enough about this stuff to be dangerous. But I'm not even close to being as smart as you guys are!)

   Also, thinking it might be one of my other widgets causing the problem, I deleted all of them to see if that would make a difference. No luck.

   Text widgets are multiple use widgets, so I doubt that's the problem. How many sidebars do you have? Have you checked them all? When was the last time you updated Thesis?

   I only have one sidebar. And I'm running the latest Thesis (1.7).
