TablePress
[resolved] Text-Vertical alignment in Row (4 posts)

    I was able to center align the text in a row (so that when I merged cells, the text was centered vertically in the cell). When I preview the table, the text is where I want it.

    However, when I view the table on the site, the text is at the top of each cell and not vertically centered.

    This is the code I used:

    .tablepress td {
    	vertical-align: middle;
    }

    Here is the table on my site: http://winddancercorgis.com/pembrokes/pem-boys/quinn/quinnpedigree/

    I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    To make this work, you'll just need a slight change in the CSS selector, to give this piece of "Custom CSS" a higher priority than the default CSS:

    .tablepress tbody td {
    	vertical-align: middle;
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias
