I am trying to outline the text on the tagline, here is what I have but it doesn’t work. Is it even possible to do?

.navbar-wrapper .navbar h2, h2.site-description {
color: #ffffff;
textOutline: 2px 2px #ff0000; /* this line I added */
font-family: Garamond;
font-size: 20px;
padding-right: 5%;
font-style: normal;
}

Thanks d4z, found what I was looking for. Here is what works.

.navbar-wrapper .navbar h2, h2.site-description {
color: white;
-webkit-text-fill-color: white;
-webkit-text-stroke-width: 1px;
-webkit-text-stroke-color: blue;
font-family: Garamond;
font-size: 20px
padding-right: 5%;
font-style: normal;
}

This will only work for just over half your users. See http://caniuse.com/text-stroke

It’s not likely to improve in the short term, as you can see from the note

Does not yet appear in any W3C specification. Was briefly included in a spec as the “text-outline” property, but this was removed.

Yes I have figured that out. But at least it’s a start. Chrome sees it but mozilla doesn’t.
