[resolved] [NSFW] Text Links Won't Work on Pages (9 posts)

I am using the latest versions of WP and Suffusion for this new site: http://www.usedpantysellingadvice.com/
I am not using any special widgets....
Plug ins: Analyticator, Secure WP, Contact Form 7, Delete Spam Daily, Display widgets, FD Feedburner, XML Sitemaps, No Self Pings, Peter's Custom Anti-Spam, Really Simple CAPTCHA, Tweet This, WP User Online.

No matter how I try, or search for an answer, my text links are not embedding on my pages correctly. Please, please, please, please forgive me if this ends up not being a Wp issue. It's just that I am doing everything the same as I do in my other site, where the embedding works....

    usedpantysellingadvice? finally!
might want to slap a nsfw on there for someone with a boss not paying attention to links..

If the gov can't help you solve it, try disabling all of your plugins to see if they are causing an issue.

Oops, sorry I did not warn! ...thought since no panties. or bodies in them, were showing it was alright....

This is an example of a link that will not embed correctly:
    a href="//www.laceinyourface.com/used-panties/g-strings-thongsā€"> G-Strings & Thongs

I had to take out the "<" in the beginning because the embedding was working here on this forum, and the link was certainly to a different NSFW site! But, it displays as full code, not a link on my pages--all three of them.

In the editor, I stay on the 'visual' tab at all times.... Should I also add that I used Firefox and clear my cache frequently?

  5. <a href="http://www.laceinyourface.com/used-panties/g-strings-thongs"> G-Strings & Thongs</a> doesn't work?

  7. Can't :) I work for The Man and they frown on actually clicking those links. Mayhap a screenshot?

I believe the solution is in what @Govpatel said. Make sure you are editing your post in the HTML mode as opposed to the Visual mode.

Sayotonan, thanks for pointing that out again. I though that he was not referring to the editor tab, and something along the lines of the difference between coding. It works now.

I finally figured out a little CSS from your very helpful tutorial. Thanks for your theme and your time.
