I use a white background image for my post content and unfortunately, it looks like the background color for text that is highlighted with the mouse is white, giving the impression that the text is not being highlighted for a copy and past procedure.

This happens in FireFox and in IE, the text highlight BG color is dark blue.

Is there anyway I can add something to the CSS to change this specific color or define the color that should be used by browsers? I primarily have an audience of FireFox users including myself and this is an annoying problem.

I fixed it. Turns out it had something to do with using a white image for a background. Apparently the firefox highlighting didn’t appreciate that. I deleted the image and instead use CSS to make that part of the page #ffffff and that seem to do the trick.
