Text editor buttons disapear (3 posts)

    Hi!
I tried to install a second version of WP on my web space. In a different folder and I gave the tables in the database a different prefix.
But when I go to write a new message or add a new page, all the buttons of the text editor are gone. I can online see their outlines. What's going wrong?

    Thanks in advance!

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    - increasing the memory available to PHP:

None of you suggestions above worked Trying to increase the memory via .htaccess even gave me a 500 error... :(

I guess I need to have a serious talk with my host...

    Thanks anyway!
