Hi,
In the toolbar for text editor I don't have any button for choosing headings, color of the text, size of the text, paragraph etc.
I can just choose bold, italic and a few more.
When looking at the tutorials on youtube I see that they have a lot more choices.
When trying to edit the text in word and pasting it on the wordpress text editor, the text looks terrible on the page.
Can someone please help me?

Click the button on the far right, kitchen sink, to show the other buttons.
You can't cut and paste from word. First save it as text then try it or try the paste from word buttons you will see after doing the above.

Thank you for the very fast reply kmessinger. It was that easy thank you very much.
One more question if you don't mind: I noticed that I can't choose headings or size of the text. Do I have to fix all that in word and then paste it to the editor? It didn't look nice the last time I did that.

Headings and size of text is controlled by css. That is the best place to make changes.
If you want to change as you go along there are some add-on text editors like Windows Live Writer, that will give you more control
