text cut off in sidebar placement

I’m using a widget in the right fixed sidebar on post pages. Text rendered in Explorer v9 is cut off on the right, I’m losing about a word. And also no name shows. Tried lots of stuff to fix including custom mods to the css sidebar. to no avail. This only happens in explorer though. Looks great in Chrome and Firefox.
