    From a newbie ...

    Is there a way that I can apply some text attributes (such as bold, italic, color) to the text for "What Is This Place" Widget?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

    I specialize in these kind of design modifications, and on many sites I have used the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
    It basically adds a new type of text widget, which has the same built-in text formatting buttons what the post or page editor page has: screenshot here

    Let me know if this solution is good for you. If you would like something different, I am sure we can find something :-)

    If you have any other questions, just feel free to ask and I am happy to answer them.

    Cheers,
    Balint

    Do not edit the theme itself. First create a child theme for your changes. Or install a custom CSS plugin.

    Yes, I completely agree with you, but there is no css modification needed with the TinyMCE widget, so I don't know what you are referring to, Esmi

    Of course.
    In the file sidebar.php replace this line:

    <?php echo sanitize_text_field(get_theme_mod('about_box')); ?>

    to this:

    <?php echo get_theme_mod('about_box'); ?>

    But it is desirable to do so in the child theme.
