Do you have a section of the dashboard to enter Custom CSS?

You need to hide the weird <css3-container> element that’s appearing in IE8 before your <textarea>.

So, do you have a stylesheet just for IE8 or a Child Theme?

Big thanks for the speedy response.

Don’t have specific IE8 stylesheet, theme is running child but no ref to css3-container in my style.css. Only ref I can find to this is in core/library/pie/pie.htc which creates element for css3-container.

No ref to this style in any css files though.

Is that from a plugin? Something is creating it and explicitly styling it in such a way that it is positioned below where it should be.

Only plugin is Contact Form 7. Just checked original files for Business Lite theme – this is where the pie folder comes from. Reckon I can just delete?

Have just taken out the include pie.htc called in the php file and all now looking OK in all versions of IE.

So I guess I’ll leave it at that.

Thanks again for all your help, Andrew.

CSSPIE is useful for making things like rounded corners and gradients work in old browser versions.

It is useful, so I don’t think you want to delete it.

I’m going to wait until the theme author responds.
