Text alignment with pictures (2 posts)

    We are a new nonprofit that retrofits a wordpress blog to be our website. The problem is with text next to pictures, it seems the text only will wrap around the pictures (I've tried having the picture align to the left or not align at all), but it won't indent to be a continuous column. In other words the text and pictures need to be in separate areas of the page, like two columns. I've read through several pages on justifying text or aligning, but haven't found anything that works.

    Very new to wordpress and html or css, so there may be an obvious solution. Check out the case here

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    You need to copy the following code and paste it in style.css of the theme.

    img.centered
    {
    display: block;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    }

    img.alignright
    {
    padding: 4px;
    margin: 0 0 2px 7px;
    display: inline;
    }

    img.alignleft
    {
    padding: 4px;
    margin: 0 7px 2px 0;
    display: inline;
    }

    .alignright
    {
    float: right;
    }

    .alignleft
    {
    float: left;
    }

    Add this code in style.css file.of your theme and it should be resolve the problem. If it does not solve the problem then replace the .img{} tags with the above code in style.css.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
