Testimonial post (single) pages not displaying

Hi guys.

When I add a new testimonial, the actual page / post is not displaying when you click on the testimonial. I’m just getting the “Nothing Here!” / Page not found message from WordPress…

Is there something I need to do? Is this a known problem? Are there any configs I’m missing?

I really like this plugin – means I can add photos etc to a testimonial and then link to it from the slider, so would really like to get this working without having to create new posts for each “full” testimonial.

Hey Gareth,

It doesn’t look like your theme has a “single.php” template. So, when WordPress is trying to load the single testimonial page, you’re getting a 404.

Two things you can do
- Create a template in your theme directory named single-testimonial.php in which will contain the layout of the single testimonial page (ideal)
- Create a template in your theme directory named single.php
If neither of these work, flush your rewrite rules by going to Settings -> Permalinks and simply hitting Save Changes.

Hi,

I was using your great plugin Clean Testimonials and it is was working fine. Here is my website http://bossvfx.com the testimonials are showing on every page.

But after the last update of wordpress I don’t have the testimonial options in my wordpress dashboard.

Can you please help me out or let me know what to do?
