Why are you making WP harder to use with serial upgrades? Please someone tell me why the text sizing option is gone and why I cannot place image borders any longer.

NO CODE PLEASE. I am a user, not a programmer.

Also, how I can get back to previous version.

Please stop putting out frequent upgrades you will ruin our blogs for good and we will have to use something else more robust

As this is the Requests and Feedback forum this answer may not be what you are looking for but here goes.

Please someone tell me why the text sizing option is gone

WordPress 3.8.x didn’t have any font or text sizing capability built in. That was always been added via a plugin and you can get it back by installing TinyMCE Advanced.

I just tried it and easily added a “Font Sizes” drop down menu to the visual editor in WordPress 3.9.

As to the image borders I believe that that may be taken care of by another plugin soon to be released but I do not have specifics for that myself.

Edit: Well that was a short walk. Try this plugin for those image options.

I have already TinyMCE Advanced and it seems they have messed it up. My question is how can a tool that purports itself as a blog platform does not have a text sizing feature? Thanks anyway. Yeah, another plugin, and another plugin, until everything goes bust.

Are all your plugins upgraded? TinyMCE Advanced, by azzoz, is up to date and functions perfectly with WordPress.

If it’s not working, turn off your other plugins and see.

Yes, it functions but the test adjustment is all that is missing. It has a new look with a menu of top but there is no text sizing feature. Where do you find yours? In the past there was a dropdown next to Paragraph dropdown box of WP. Now there is a new menu on top (Files, Edit, Insert, etc.) but no text sizing option.

Try visiting Settings -> TinyMCE Advanced

You can drag the options such as “Font Sizes” onto the editors toolbar.

That’s how I put that button into my editor toolbar.
