Hello All - I'm fairly new to WordPress, but - gotta say - loving it so far.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this: it's my understanding that when using one of the sidebar templates in a WordPress theme (we're using some third-party themes), that same sidebar - with widgets populated - will appear on any page that you're using that page template for.

So - given that - you're basically bound into using the same sidebar content on any page with a sidebar, and it's then impossible to create specific sidebar content for different pages.

Is this correct? I have a client wanting different sidebars on different pages, and - aside from manually programming those as 'sidebars' in HTML on a full-width page - I'm not sure it's possible.

Thanks a ton for the help, it's truly appreciated!

You can use a plug-in to change the sidebar contents on a specific page: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/dynamics-sidebars/
