No current plans but what I usually do is when there is a bug to fix I try and address some of the outstanding requests that people have made which I think would be generally useful.

Logging wouldn’t be too hard – the question becomes what to do with it other than stuff it in the database. It would be pretty easy to implement something which saves a timestamp and content each time email is sent but if the expectation is to be able to reuse it and send it again, that makes the problem a bit more complex.

Making the current template the default content for an editable field would be significantly easier. My dilemma is I have a lot on my plate at work and I have another web project I am doing for our high school so the amount of time I have to add new features to Email Users is at a minimum right now.

This doesn’t mean I won’t do it, it just means it won’t happen very quickly. There are a couple of suggestions in the Support Forum which are on my to-do list. I have some work travel coming up over the next month, I usually have some cycles while traveling to work on my WordPress plugins. I’ll see what I can do.

I have added the ability to change the notification email subject and content in the beta version of v4.6.10. See this post for more details.
