Template without a sidebar using Freshy-10 theme

I’ve been trying to come up with a template that gets rid of the sidebar so that I can link an external page (like a forum or anything else) using the full space, but to no good ends. I checked http://wordpress.org/support/topic/43977?replies=9
(was referring to the main theme, but I tried doing stuff like that, to no good use). I’m using the Freshy theme, and seriously having trouble finding anything at all.
