• Hello all,
I am a relative newbie to WordPress and I have run into this issue.

I created a template for some pages on my site. Essentially nav on the left, content in the middle, and an image on the right. The image on the right is contained in a stylized div, which is why selecting an image to place in the content section will not work for my needs.

In dotnetnuke(DNN) one is able to create containers in the DNN skins file in which users could edit content.

I have searched, but I could not find an answer on how to do this in WordPress.

Basically, what I would like is when a user creates a new page and selects this template, the user could then create the content for the page, as well as select or upload an image that would display in the div that is supposed to house said image. I know a user can upload or select an image to place in the “content” section, but I would like the image displayed in the right column of the page, in a div that is outside of the “content” area. Each new page created using this template would require an image selection or upload.

Any and all advice is appreciated, thank you in advance.
