I'm hoping someone would be kind enough to help me with this. I was using the inove theme for one of my sites and that had the template option under "Attributes" where I can select the template of a page when creating or editing a page.
I would like to use several other themes but they do not have this option. I'm not sure how I can enable this option or how to apply a template (created one with no sidebar) to a page since there doesn't seem to be this option anywhere in the page creation/edit area.

OK i re-read the page-templates I and noticed the part where it give the example of a page template and saw this:

Template Name: XXXXXX
*/
Added these lines to my file and viola! the option showed up.
