    I'm having this problem to. By description, what do you mean? I uploaded the folder under the names that they were downloaded as, to no avail.

    They're still not showing up. Anybody else had this problem? I'm on a Mac.

    Nevermind. Come to find out that the files had not appeared on my server and now the themes are showing up properly in the control panel. It was an FTP problem.

    Every theme has to have a description, it's at the top of your style sheet. It needs to look like this.

    /*
    Theme Name: (Theme Name Goes Here)
    Theme URI: (Theme URI Goes Here)
    Description: (Theme Description Goes Here)
    Version: (Theme Version Number Goes Here)
    Author: (Theme Author Goes Here)
    Author URI: (Theme Author URI Goes Here)
    */

    Just replace the parenthesis text including the parenthesis with whatever you like.
