    Hi
My template displays the author information by default in the sidebar.
For the page http://www.technofinger.com/archives , which is just a template, how can I put in the author info?

    Many thanks

When showing archives wouldn't there be a bunch of authors?

Yep - but the actual archive page author
    http://www.technofinger.com/archives
At the right it says "This page was written by on Monday, February 23, 2009, 16:36. has written 59 posts on this blog."

Where it shouls say something like: "This page was written by Kenneth Watt on Monday, February 23, 2009, 16:36. Kenneth Watt has written 59 posts on this blog.

    Sorry :)

So archives is actually a Page? If so, what mechanism is used to display the author information--a template code or a widget? Once you determine that, paste the template code in a pastebin and report the link back here, or let us know the name of the widget.

The theme automatically displays the author in it's own sidebar (not controllable).
The archives is a template, so when writing a post I just select Templates -> archive.

You may need to fix the sidebar or talk to the theme author.

It's paid support only so that's why I came here...
Is there a way that you can see the actual code for a page?
