Take a look at my blog: http://www.grisephotography.com/blog
WHAT happened? I'm about to tear my hair out. OK, I switched servers, but I'd forgotten to switch the blog's server first (I didn't know I had to, actually). So I figured out how to get wordpress installed in bludomain.com (my new server). Got that done. Created a database, all that. Then I FTP'd my old blog info into http://www.grisephotography.com/blog using the new database info. And the end result is what you see. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it? Thanks so much in advance!

how do i do that (seriously i have zero idea about this stuff)?
Well... your blog is running on an outdated version... and you said you just switched server.
Were the servers using different versions?

No, you have to update the entire wordpress core. If you don't know what I'm remotely talking about I would hire someone to do it for you.

i know what you mean about the wordpress core. basically, everything i get from the new upload, but without the stuff i personally edited. correct?
I'm slightly confused at your question. :)
In a basic WordPress upgrade you would just delete almost everything, but the WP-CONTENT folder and your wp-config file. If you created any special folders be careful not to delete those either.
You'll basically get rid of the wp-admin, wp-includes, and all the other wp-****.php files.

No problemo. Just be sure to follow-up and let us know if the mods can mark this thread as resolved.
Oh and dude... don't forget to run the database upgrade.

Example.com is the url of your wordpress install.

would example.com be grisephotography.com if my blog is grisephotography.com/blog?
If you uploaded the wordpress install into the 'blog' directory then http://grisephotography.com/blog/wp-admin/upgrade.php would be the path to execute the db upgrade.

Looks like you don't have everything uploaded.
Looks pretty good GrisePhoto.... check out my photoblog... not as fancy as yours whatsoever... tracynphotography.com
Also, when saving images for online-use, you definitely need to compress the images. If saving from photoshop as a jpeg use the 8 value.
