   Hello,

   I have tried to claim my blog with technorati, but I have not been able to do so. Technorati cannot spider it for some reason.

   Both the blog website and the blog rss are valid.

   Do you have any suggestions for what the cause of this may be?

   It's more than likely not your site or blog, but technorati... Google it, people have been complaining about it for quite some time now - even here in the forums.

   I haven't paid much attention to them since 3 times in a row I wrote to them, to have them tell me "okay, all fixed" only to have it tell me a week later that there were no updates in 100+ hours, even though I'd added a post every day.

   I got sick of it. They've gone downhill for whatever reason. I'll rely on the search engines and other network sites at this point.

   Heh. Well, I guess that's what I've been doing.... since "not paying attention" seems to be my mantra with them anyway!

   But how silly - what sort of business model is that anyway?

   I have other sites on technorati which did not have this problem. However, I noticed that they were not being updated as they should have. I sent a notice to support 2 days ago about my WordPress blog, but they failed to respond. Thanks for the input.
