Hi all. My fairly new blog Techvirgin.com got set up and I was looking for advice/suggestions on making it better from the masters. I am using a magazine style theme and mostly going for a graphics heavy front end. I would be very interested in optimizing the code to make it load faster.

not bad considering all the graphics.
the link above has an Optimization Checklist that you could look at.
unfortunately you cannot do anything about the checklist problems for content you link to on other domains, just decide if you really need it.
my homepage loads in 0.6 secs, but I have only 3 graphics.
