nevermind, I had the wrong state and zip chosen 🙂

This client is telling me that there is a state wide tax of 7.5% in CA that he would like to apply regardless of which CA zip is entered. How would I adjust for that?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. For some reason I am not being notified of new posts…

If you want to charge a flat rate just remove all of the rates, and then enter one rate for CA So enter the Country Code, State Code, and the Rate. Leave everything else blank.

I have uploaded all tax rates for florida… A.) my page times out like it says in the FAQ but when does it accept it and not do that? B.) at check out it does not load the rates at all. not sure what’s going on here. I’ve been trying to figure it out literally ALL day.

    Thanks.

Who is your hosting provider? Do you happen to use bluehost? This isn’t an issue with my plugin but I know of an issue with woocommerce and bluehost which causes taxes not to calculate at all.

When does it accept what? The standard tax page will always time out like I mentioned in the faq when you have hundreds/thousands of tax rates. This is not caused by my plugin. It is how woocommerce is pulling and displaying the data all at once from the db table instead of using pagination.

Let me know who your host is here is a different post I made on woocommerce support section.

If you are using bluehost than this is the problem. Let me know and I can help you fix that if your not comfortable doing that.

Hi thanks for your reply. We have Network Solutions. Any suggestions?? 🙁

If you could send me a test account I could take a look at whats going on. You could try the above fix for bluehost as it might be the same thing with Network Solutions.

If you want you can email me @ adamcbowen81@gmail.com since I do not know of a way to send a private message on this forum etc.

Thanks, I just send you an email!

I too, am having the same problem. I’ve gone with a blanket rate for CA but when I go to check out the tax is not being calculated. I have the mystile theme and I’m using hostgator. Can anyone lend me hand on this?

Check that you have Display tax totals: set to itemized.

Also if you could email me a test admin account I can take a look email me at adamcbowen81@gmail.com

    Thanks,

Under what menu will I find that option ecommerce settings?

That would be under the tax tab towards the bottom in woocommerce settings.

I have everything installed and taxes are calculating. However, I can not un-select the column that determines tax on shipping. Each time I save (without check marks), it reverts. We don’t want to charge tax on shipping.
