    Hi,

Thanks for at super plugin. However, I do have a problem.

I cannot get the plugin to show the total tax in the customer reciept.

I see that the file: wpsc-email_content_part-totals.php – contains code to show tax_total, but it does not show up in the customer email.

All product prizes are shown including tax, and that is how it should be, but I need a line, that will show total order tax also.

    I use: WP 3.4.2, WP e-commerce 3.8.8.5 and WP e-Commerce Style Email 0.6.2

I cannot upgrade WP and e-commerce yet, cause my quickpay gateway does not work with the newer versions yet.

Is there something I am missing?

    Thanks in advance

    HC

    Hi there,

Just to rule out the obvious, in the testing you’ve done do your purchases have tax set? (ie. the tax total isn’t $0)

    Cheers,

    Hi Jacob,

    Yep tax is set.

When I use the standard wp e-commerce receipt, I shows the tax for every line of purchase.

However, I prefer the way your plugin lists all the items, but I really also need a line with the total tax.

My shop is in test mode, I could give you access to it, if that would help, but it’s in danish 🙂

    Any advice?

    Thanks in advance.

It turned out that I needed some special code, for use in Denmark.

For a small fee the author of this plugin helped me in no time.

    Thanks!

And thank you for contacting me. I’m glad I was able to help!

Just so others can make use of this comment thread: WP e-Commerce has a series of options under the “tax” tab of the store settings. If the store is set to include tax in product prices, WPEC will not itemize tax in checkout. This is because WPEC automatically adds any itemized tax to the total.

The issue here was including tax in product prices, while also itemizing the total tax included. The solution was to calculate the included tax based on a given rate applied to the total. The calculated amount was templated into the purchase receipt email.

    Cheers,

    Jacob
