.tar.gz file doubled, won't run backup

My backups size is typically around 430MB, but for some reason the size is now reporting nearly double this. I saw another user had this same issue and I pretty much did the same thing.

I checked all my directories for an existing backup file somewhere in the directory, but there’s nothing out of the ordinary. I even made sure the plugin’s tmp directory was clear.

I am now unable to zip up the files as it stalls because it’s so big.

Any idea what’s going on here?
