Selecting text for linkage is great, but it'd be even better if the dialog window in which we entered the link's URL had a checkbox option allowing the code to include target="_blank" so that we don't lose a visitor. Years of doing this manually has me begging for the feature. A late Christmas present in 3.0? Please?
