Have you thought of just using another theme?
I don’t really want to. I like most of the features and the simplicity of this theme. I should just be able to remove the responsiveness from the functions.php or template.php right? but how?
As per the theme developer’s request, please post in the theme’s dedicated forum: http://cyberchimps.com/forum/free/responsive/

@esmi, CyberChimps don’t provide support for customisations as I’ve been told.
Edit: NVM seems like that forum does provide support for customisations.
I’m not surprised but what else can we do? Taking the responsiveness out of a responsive theme makes no sense at all.
Do you guys know if I would remove it from a template? or from the functions.php or where I would look? i am sure I could figure it out, but just seeing if anyone had any clue first.

What you’d need to do is create a Child Theme and then first override (not delete) any responsive styles.
ok thank you. If I have any other questions I will post them
