   I have a new blog called http://www.islandinthegulf.wordpress.com. I entered some tags but they do not show up on the blog page of the website. I do not know HTML. Is there some easy way to get the tags to show up on the right hand side? Thank you

   tags don't appear if the theme you're using doesn't call them anywhere.

   but you can surely show them on your sidebar,
   navigate from the Dashboard to Appearances -> Widgets and Add tags widget in the sidebar.
   that should do.

   I now know the problem is in the theme as you said, but your idea does not solve it. If I go to widgets and make a tagcloud what I get is a title called Tags on the right side bar, and the other elements of the sidebar that come with the theme get deleted, and none of the tags I have submitted to wordpress show up under the title Tags. I am sure the problem requires some kind of HTML. Susan
