I'm working for an organization on setting up a WordPress site that will primarily be used for static information, i.e. pages. I anticipate that news will be slow to nonexistent, so what I'd like to do is set up a tabs on the top for the "news" tag as well as podcasts. I can't seem to find any plugins that will help me with this, so I'm hoping one of y'all can help me out.

While I'm at it, is there a way to set wordpress up to load a page by default instead of the most recent posts?

    1. Have no idea what tabs are you talking about since there is no link, you didn't mention the name of your theme (its download source) etc.

    2. Yes, just look around in your own admin panel... Options > Reading...

    1. Ah, so sorry about that. I'm trying to build my own theme use the WordPress Theme Generator, which seems to be good enough to at least give me a rough start. It has an option under "menu" for top page tabs, it'd like to get some tags up there too if possible. I think this would mean simply combining the tags and the menu, I'm not sure if that's possible or not.

    2. D'oh. Sure enough. Many thanks.
