• Hello everybody,

I am creating a site which features some architectural projects. These projects have authors and collaborators attached to them as tags using custom taxonomies.
I am looking for a way to link a tag to a sort of a profile page for every author and collaborator, which would also feature a list of posts (projects) that this person has worked on. Is there a way to link a tag to a custom post type maybe, which would then pull up a person’s profile, and feature a loop querying all the projects from that person?

I’ve tried searching these forums, the Codex and the web, but so far I haven’t found a satisfying solution. I am aware that it is possible to create custom tag query page, but this wouldn’t work since it would mean creating a separate template for each author. The other soulution would be to beef up WP’s author pages and then use some plugin for multiple authors. I guess this could do the trick, but these authors and collaborators really don’t need usernames and passwords, just short profiles, so it seems that a more semantic approach would be to use a custom post type.

Thank you for reading up to here and thank you for any input you might have 🙂
