Tagline being replaced by post title | WordPress.org

On my main blog page my tagline is being replaced by the most recent post title. Also, when you click on any post the tagline is replaced with the the title of the post you’re looking at.

I know how to change the tagline in settings > general but my tagline there isn’t being reflected on my pages. Any ideas?

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

SmartStart WP – Responsive HTML5 Theme and it has a child theme as well. I’m not sure where it was downloaded from, this has been the theme for a while but this problem just arose today at some point.

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support commercial products here.
