• OK, guys ‘n’ gals, here’s an idea. First: some exposition. I was looking to change my theme. It was called Tandil and worked wonderfully. But it was fairly dark and I decided I wanted something a little more in the realm of daylight. So I looked and I found three that I really liked.

Atahualpa is totally calm, Amazing Grace is serene, Iva is kind of kinky, Fancy is like the streamers that blow out of the end of a birthday tootler. Arjuna is like the rare Grecian Pottery room at the Met, Ahimsa is kind of with it with its orange motif and collapsing side bar.

What’s a mother to do? I like them all, depending upon my mood and the post.

Then it hit me: attaching themes to individual posts. Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don’t.

This is perhaps a really stupid idea. One doesn’t want to get too much in the court of the bloggers and forget the people reading them. Perhaps having a different theme based on the nature of the post is stupid and too jarring for the ultimate consumers. After all, people expected, more than they expected their mail to be delivered, that there would be a conflict over the occupant of Archie Bunker’s chair.

    But it’s just an idea.
