  • Same problems here, after update tabs are no longer working in Chrome, FireFox,and Safari. All up-to-date. Mac OS X 10.9. Is it possible to get the previous version?

    Edit:
    Only 1st tab is shown.

@undergroundflix: Your tabs work on my Chrome Browser, mine don’t. Weird.

If anyone else is having this problem and wants to step back to the old version, I had NOT updated it on one of my sites and was able to copy over the files. If you want a copy let me know (albiet with all my preferences set).

I just released a new version. It should fix the tabs for those using the option “permalink” in the section “Links behavior”.

Let me know if you still have issues.

    Thanks for reporting the problem.

Thanks Rodrigo – it works great now!
    Great plugin, by the way.

@ Rodrigo: Thx for the fix! Indeed, great plugin.

@ LindaEve: Many thx for the kind offer!

I’m still having issues – in Chrome, the tabs still not separating content on posts or pages and in Safari I am only having issues with pages.

Problem remains in FF 26 + WP 3.8
    Back to the old version…

I have identified a problem with the opened tab when there is a cookie set. This problem should be fixed in the new 2.10.2 version I just released.

If this doesn’t fix the problem you are having please test the tabs in the link below (WP 3.8 running postTabs 2.10.2) and tell me if the same issue happens there.

This has no explanation for me (I know nothing about wordpress code) but maybe can help someone: postTabs worked wonderful in my blog until I deleted some other plugins that I don’t really need. Then, all the content of the page appeared under the first tab, the same problem that other persons are having. So I tried to reinstall the deleted plugins and it worked with this one: Alpine PhotoTile for Google Plus and Picasa. I guess there is some code there that is needed for postTabs.

@elenav – I have never used those plugins the tabs were working fine prior to the latest updates.

@RodrigoPrimo – When I visit the link – http://post-tabs.hacklab.com.br/ – that you provided, the tabs seem to be working fine. However, when I visit my site I still have the same issue. All of the content is displayed under the first tabs and the remaining tabs are unresponsive.

I am running wordpress v3.8 and post tabs v2.10.2.

Is there a way I can be linked to a copy of the older version to ensure my site appears as it did before.

@elenav please check version 2.10.3. I was assuming that jQuery was always included in WP but it seems that in some cases it is not. This might be the solution to your problem. If the problem persists please send me a link to a page where postTabs is not working in your site.

@undergroundflix in every browser that I try (Linux and Chrome on Linux and IE on Windows) the tabs in the page http://undergroundflix.com/gravity-2013/ are working as expected. Which browser and OS are you using? Could you check with Firebug (or with the equivalent tool for your browser of choice) in the JS console to see if there is an error?

You can download the previous versions of postTabs from the link below:

You think it could have something to do with Adblock Plus or other equivalent plugins?

I am working on a mac, OSX, and I typically use Google Chrome.

I am not using my personal computer at the moment so I will have to check the site with Firebug at a later time.

It might be related with Adblock Plus or other plugin you have installed. Could you try on a different computer or in your computer with all plugins disabled?

This plugin has been installed for a long time – and working – on a website we run. It stopped on update, and has not since worked.

It is not a browser issue: tabs work on your linked websites above fine.

The issue replicates on all browsers, and with all other plugins deactivated.

It might be a theme conflict of some kind, but not looking to change theme right now, so reverting. Just thought you might like to know that there’s something not quite working (we tried permalinks / without permalinks and toggling every setting to no avail).

    Reverted.

Can confirm reverting to 2.9.3 fixes the issue and the tabs work once again.

If you’d like, I can run through each update and see where things stop (this was updated by another admin for past few upgrades) working to help identify which of your revisions is breaking things on our setup?
