I have the tabs - Home, Contact Us, etc - then in the main part of the body of the page - It states (again!) Home, Contact Us - I'm trying to change this to a heading but it's putting it in automatically. HOw do I get rid of it and put in a heading or nothing at all. I don't want viewers to be on the Home page and then it says Home again in the body. I hope this is clear. I can't find any help on it.

By "tabs" you mean Pages in the menu. A heading is a "section title" inside post content, so I'm trying to understand what you are doing.
If you want more control over your menus, try using Appearance > Custom Menus. Appearance Menus Screen on the WordPress Codex.
For more specific help for your Theme, contact the Theme author.
