I have a site that always shows the same 5 tables need to be optimize. The size stays the same. Even some of the table show the amount to saved is great than the table size which is also confusing.

    What is going on here.

    Table Size Status Space Save
wpcs_options 2624 Kb Need to Optimize 4096 Kb
wpcs_postmeta 1872 Kb Need to Optimize 4096 Kb
wpcs_posts 2704 Kb Need to Optimize 4096 Kb
wpcs_wfFileMods 2576 Kb Need to Optimize 4096 Kb
wpcs_wfHits 7584 Kb Need to Optimize 4096 Kb

Just tried to optimize via phpAdmin and received the message - Table does not support optimize, doing recreate + analyze instead.

    What's up???

These tables are InnoDB not MyISAM. Don't know how they got setup that way. How do I make sure they are optimized?

InnoDB tables are not supported and right now i do not have a solution to optimize innoDB format .. even phpMyAdmin does not support it. Reason being, innoDB type tables are always in optimize mode. they do not need optimization.

Previous versions of this plugin had a setting you could check to optimize tables. Similarly, it would tell you how much dabatbase space you could save by optimizing. In the latest version of the plugin I only see this: "Database optimization not available for InnoDB table types." There is an empty box which I can't check by clicking on the box. I've checked my PhpMyAdmin tables types and some are InnoDB and others aren't. I can't optimize anything through the plugin.
