I have installed the Tablepress plugin and love it. I’ve donated and promised a second donation when project is complete. My site is ready, except for this one final issue.

I have a database with a hidden “Availability: YES or NO” column.

I want to NEVER EVER show the NO entries, but currently all searches still display the NO matches, even if the column itself is hidden. I need to be able to display search matches that also ONLY match the “YES” availability.

I am hoping it’s simple but my logic is fuzzy now having worked so long on this project.

Correction EDIT: After searching more and re-reading I realized I kind of asked the wrong question. Like I said; iyt’s early and I’m foggy logic today.

What I really need is a way to pre-screen the search filter to include a search for YES & whatever the user inputs. It will only ever display search matches that have YES in the entry AND whatever they search for. Right now, even if I use filter=”YES” in the table display, the search over-ride that and displays “YES” and “No” matches because it searches the whole database over-riding my filter=”YES” function.

Is there a way to pre-pass search items to the search box function and only EVER display the “YES” matches?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

So, from what I understand, you are using the “Row Filter Extenson”, but it’s still showing the rows that have “NO” in them, instead of “YES”?
Can I see that somewhere, i.e. can you please post a link to the page with the table?
Also, are you refering the search field right above the table?

    Regards,
    Tobias

It’s crazy Tobias. I’m so confused. I was excited to see you’d replied, but when I went to clarify my question with examples, everything was working perfectly… like I was in some trance. It’s doing exactly what I needed now. I’m so confused… but happy.

No problem. Site complete., Project done. Expect a second payment when I get paid. My favourite web plugin! *****

    Hi,

nice! Good to hear that everything is working! This was probably some weird caching issue.
And thanks for wanting to donate again, I really appreciate it!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
