Hi,
Can you please manually empty your browser cache? Or, try it from a different browser?
Because the javascript file has changed… your browser may still be serving the cached version of the old plugin file.
Hi,
Like we said, we already tried three different browsers. We emptied the cache of the browsers just now, but that also doesn’t work. So, it doesn’t load the cached version of the old plugin.

You are correct. Sorry about that.
I develop on the nightly build of WordPress (currently using 4.0 beta 2). I just tested on my other dev site (running WP 3.9.1), and the same thing happens as you described above.
So, apparently this functionality will not be available [in core] until WP updates to version 4.0.
I’ll release a maintenance update for WP Edit tonight; reverting back to the older version of the ‘table’ addon.
Once WP updates core to 4.0 for the public; I’ll add this updated ‘table’ addon back into the plugin.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Hi,
No problem. Thank you for solving the issue on such a short notice.

Yeah, you’ll need to update to at least version 4.0 of WP for the tables to work properly. I’ll have to update my “requires at least” in the plugin info section.
What is preventing you from updating to the latest WP version?
Time. I will be speaking to our web group today, and it is on my lists of requests. Thanks for your response.

You’re very welcome.
Please let me know if they decide to keep the site “restrained” on a previous version; and I’ll do what I can to make it work for you.
Otherwise; please let me know if you get updated and everything works okay.
Thanks.
I have instructed them to update. I’ll let you know if it persists afterwards. Thanks again!
