[resolved] Table column widths inconsistent (4 posts)

    HI I understand, per your documentation, that I may change the width of a given column with CSS. No problem. But my question is how are the columns being delivered with alternating widths from the start?

    I have combined cells in certain headers but not the actual rows.

    here is the page: http://mangrovesoftware.com/euc-event-itinerary

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question and sorry for the trouble!

    Different tables have different column widths from the start, because those are calculated "on the fly" by the browser, taking into account various factors, like number of columns, amount/size/length of content in those columns, and other things.
    This is nothing that TablePress can influence.

    To achieve a more uniform design on that page, you should therefore set the columns widths with some "Custom CSS" like this:

    .tablepress-id-1 .column-1,
    .tablepress-id-2 .column-1,
    .tablepress-id-3 .column-1,
    .tablepress-id-4 .column-1 {
        width: 25%
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias
