   I have a free blog at WP.com: homeschooltherevolution.wordpress.com
   And it has its own domain thru WP: http://winging-it.me

   I just got hosting thru Hostgator and imported all my files to WP.org: http://174.122.176.254/~carma/
   Which I want to appear on my domain: http://winging-it.me

   All my files are there, the new hosted site looks fine, but HOW do I get my domain name winging-it.me to point to my new site? Right now that domain still shows my old WP.com blog not the new WP.org blog.

   I got into the Domain Manager, and I see my WP.com domains, but here my mad coding skillz (NOT) desert me. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do or what a "nameserver" is or which what should point where.

   Try asking your hosts for assistance with this.

   Hi Carma,

   I assume that this is your temprory url : http://174.122.176.254/~carma/

   and all the actual files and database available here. If it is correct then you have to login into your domain panel and change the DNS setting according to your hostgator hosting.
