I have had an iweb site for a long time. I did the fantastico install of wordpress and loaded a theme and all was fine except when I click on my website address at the top of the dashboard, it takes me to my old iweb site. In addition, the words “visit site” don’t show up at the top of my dashboard page as the tutorials suggest it should. I tried deleting my FTP info in my iweb site, saving the iweb file, but still I don’t have “visit site” and clicking on my address goes back to my old site. I deleted my cache and tried again and it still sees the old site. I’d very much appreciate any help. My webhost is machighway. Thank you, Cathy

There is an index.html file in the same directory as the WordPress index.php file. Remove the index.html file, either via FTP or your hosting provider’s file manager, and all should be fine.

That was considered redundant and remove in WP 3. Now, your blog’s title in the top-left corner of the admin panel is a hyperlink that goes directly to your blog.
