• I have a self-hosted fashion blog, http://www.indigopeacock.com, and I currently use a free theme called F8 from GraphPaperPress.com.

I have tweaked the files a little bit to customize it and now I’d like to try out other WordPress themes just for fun. But if I want to switch back to F8, will those tweaks still be saved there? Or will I have to re-tweak?

The themes I’d like to try out are Cleanr, Coraline and Simplest.

I want to be able to switch back and forth and not lose the way the F8 theme looks. Is this possible? Sorry, I’m a total novice 🙂

    thank you!
    neha.

  • All your changes in theme are in theme folder so if you switch theme and then back F8 you still will have the same theme as left it.All your posts and pages will show in new theme as all your posts and pages are saved in database.

ok great. So I do not have to run some kind of back up before changing themes?

when you do that it does not do anything to database but if you want you can backup to be on safe side.
