Switched wordpress.com to self hosted

    Hello –
    I am in the process of switching my http://www.msfitrunner.wordpress.com blog to self hosted through host gator at http://www.msfitrunner.com and the “one click install” – the support at host gator told me it could take a few hours for my blog to appear as normal on my new msfitrunner.com site – my questions are, is there anything I need to do at wordpress.org to make this happen, or do I just wait? Will my blog be the way it was before I did the install to self hosted? and lastly – do I need to transfer all of my subscribers to the new blog address, do they go automatically or do I just hope they all re-subscribe? Thank you for your help.

    You need to export your content from WordPress.com and import it to your self hosted site.

    You will also need to upload whichever theme you were using and activate it if you want your site to look the same.

    Your subscribers do not get transferred automatically, but I’m not sure how you can transfer them. Perhaps someone else can help you with this.
