I switched to bluehost from wordpress.com, installed it using Bluehost's simple scrips, but the plugin tab on wordpress is still not showing up on the dashboard. Would anyone help explain to me why this is so?

    Thanks so much!

Only two plugins get 'delivered' with WordPress and at lease one of them, hello.php is there in your wp-content folder. Are you logged in as a user with the Administrator role?

Could be your permission on the wp-content/plugins folder are not sufficient--might need to 'up' the permission to 755 or 777 on wp-content and wp-content/plugins and wp-content/themes folders. See Changing File Permissions.
