I switched hosts from Dreamhost to Godaddy this week. My website is here. The main page looks fine, but none of the links work… the comments, the sidebar links, even going to page 2 gives me the 404 error. Meanwhile I have no trouble logging into the WordPress end.

Here’s what changed when I switched hosts:

    1. I changed the database name. I’ve already changed the login/password information in wp-config, but that’s it.
    2. When reuploading the SQL database to Godaddy, I removed the CREATE_DATABASE command line from the SQL file.
    3. Along with the database, I uploaded this thing called “information_schema.” No idea what that is or if it’s hurting my efforts.

When I moved, I copied the FTP files exactly as they were.

I’m guessing this is some simple fix, since it looks like the building blocks are in place, but I have no idea. Help me WordPress forums! You’re my only hope.

What you might need to know: My website has only been propagating for 24 hours. It doesn’t feel like this is a propagation issue though, since the main page works fine. Also, my domain name is still registered at Dreamhost and is in the process of transferring over. Again, I don’t know why this would affect the site itself.
