    Hello,

I am currently using go daddy as my hosting service. I cant stand them. I have had my site(http://monday315.com) for a little over a week, and yesterday all day it was down and today it comes up intermittently. If it comes up, I can try to go to a page and then get “this page could not be displayed.” I called twice to go daddy and the first time, they said there stuff is fine. the second time they said there was an issue but they couldn’t tell me what it was or when it would get fixed.
    Here are my questions:
1.Can I switch hosting companies without losing all of my data?
2.If I can, can I keep my domain? I bought it through go daddy. Or will I lose it?
3.What do I need to do to switch?
    4. Who do you recommend for hosting?

    1. Backup your files and database--read WordPress Backups. Then read Moving WordPress
    2. Once you have new hosting, then at Godaddy, change your domain's name servers to point to the name servers of your new hosting company (they will tell you what name servers to use)
    3. Do backups if you haven't, follow Moving WordPress
    4. See the Hosting tab at the top of this page.
