Switch a post from a show case to a normal post

    Hi all,
    I have an issue that I couldn’t solve yet!
    I have a wordpress website, for some reason I don’t know how to switch my posts from a showcase to a normal post. In other words, in the page sitting; if I chose sidebar or Normal page, the posts disappear, but when I chose showcase, all the posts come back to the front page :S, the problem with the showcase page is that my widgets can’t be on the right side! I tried to fix it but I couldn’t 🙁
    It use to be normal before, but then I created another account with wordpress, downloaded all the posts from the old one and uploaded them to the new one, then this problem showed up! any one could help?

    Hi!
    What theme are you using? If you are using any of the more classic ones, make sure you remove any featured or showcase categories from the posts that are still being featured.
    Also, in the Post editing window, make sure that, under the Visibility options, the checkbox “Stick this post to the front page” is unchecked in all of your posts you don’t want to showcase.
    That should do the trick.

    Thank you for the reply.
    It is Twenty Eleven theme. It still doesn’t work as it supposed to. Now if I don’t have a showcase page, my post won’t show up on the home page. And it would show this in the home page:

    “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

    It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”

    I have to add the showcase page in order to show my posts on the home page. Other wise my posts will not appear on the home page. So how can Ifix this and edit the home page?
