I’ve been testing Swiftype and works very well. The only problem I’ve had is with the use of special characters for words in Spanish. It is normal in the searches that you do not use special characters, so the content does not appear. Example:

If I search the word “construccion” will not find anything with “construcción”. I hope you can improve this.

On the other hand is very useful I use this search engine on a wiki. I have developed a “custom post type” for the wiki. I know I should disable indexing via robots.txt for my content, with exception of the wiki. And then have a very good search engine content for the wiki. The question is how do I add a new search engine that works only with swiftype and without transforming my main search engine?

    thanks

    Hello,

First, we have some things in the works that will handle the “construcción” case. They should be available within the next week or so.

For your question about the wiki search, I’m not sure I completely understand the situation. Are you using the crawler solution or the WordPress plugin? Perhaps if you can give some example that will help.

    Hello,

Searches for “construcción” should now match as you expected.

oh! nice, I’ll check the update, I will comment later.

In the previous topic, I consulted about how to have 2 engines. The reason is that I have custom content through a “custom post type”. This content is extensive documentation as a wiki (not a plugin). Then I want to leave a search engine to the general content of the site. And using Swiftype only for documentation.

    The question is

How do I integrate two search engines on one page and only one of them works with Swiftype?
