• Hi,

I have created a plugin http://svn.wp-plugins.org/motor-racing-league/ uploaded it and created a couple of tags 1.0.1 and 1.0.2

I’m working on version 1.0.3 and have checked in the changes to trunk for 1.0.3 along with a readme.txt file with the Stable tag: 1.0.3 in preparation for the new release.

I did NOT create an svn tag 1.0.3, however the plugin directory shows the latest stable version as 1.0.3 (with the zip file containing my latest changes). I guess the zip was built from trunk.

This is not what I expected. I assumed a new zip file would not be build until the stable tag entry in the readme.txt matched an svn tag.
    Is that correct ?

If I upload more changes to trunk will they be built into a new ‘stable’ zip file ? Which may be ‘broken’ by my partly committed changes.

If so, if I create a 1.0.3 tag will that prevent further changes from trunk being added to the latest zip file.

I’ve been following the instructions at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/about/svn/

    Thanks,

    Ian.
